Hmawngchuan Village, It's the oldest village in Jampui Hill, it was established on 1910 AD by one of the Mizo King, Raja Bahadur Dokhuma Sailo.

His title 'Raja Bahadur' is given to him by the Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Debbarma(RENG LAL) he was The King of Tripura.
