New beginnings
"Right beside your bed there is a pot,
don't forget to water it!"

Blissed enough to hatch upon all your late night thoughts, you go to sleep when you have battled enough to make yourself the hero of the day, or atleast in your mind you won all those wars. You take a deep breath and water that pot everyday as a sign of growth, no matter what, you presume for the best, you look for the new buds as new beginnings.

As such is our life if something or anything we have in our hands are those new buds growing into flowers one day, some pretty ones, some a little bold, some a little dull. But we always have a choice to look for them and flaunt as they grow into a complete bu***ke.

From listening to our parents stories of enacting such dialogues to us on relating to such words - 'Na sirf ek shabd nahi ... apne aap mein ek poora vakya hai ... isse kisi tarakh, spashtikaran, explanation ya vyakhya ki zaroorat nahi hoti ... na ka matlab na hi hota hai' this man has made more than two generations admire him.
Born on 11th October 1942, in Allahabad to Mr. Harivansh Rai Bachhan and Mrs Teji Bachhan. Mrs Bachhan had a knack for theatre but didn't pursue it for domestic duties and thus it was due to his mother's influence and support majorly that Amitabh Bachhan chose to take the centre stage.
The rest is history.
From films like Anand, Zanjeer, Sholay, Deewaar, Trishul, Don, Shaan, Yaarana, Satte Pe Satta, Shehenshaah, Agneepath where he charmed our yester generations with his dialogues, physique and actions to films like Pink, Piku, Wazir,Badla - where he astonishes and captivates us with his personality and dedication to the characters.

Apart from acting he has also sung some beautiful songs like - Ekla cholo re from Kahani, Main yahan tu wahan from Baghbaan, Atrangi Yaari from Wazir and quite a few more. From action films, to family drama, to unconventional roles, to characters that stayed with us long after the film, this man has not only been the jack of all genres but has mastered each of them perfectly.
He has performed in over 200 Films in Indian cinema and still continues to own, to justify the centre stage and keep the audience glued to their seats.
