పసుపు, కుంకుమ—ఎందుకు రెండూ? 🌼
పసుపు భూమి నుంచి వచ్చేది. శుద్ధి చేసేది, రక్షించేది. గౌరీదేవికి పసుపు రూపం.
కుంకుమ పసుపు నుంచే పుడుతుంది. పసుపుకు సున్నం కలిపితే ఎరుపు అవుతుంది. అదే శక్తి రూపం.
అందుకే వరుస ముఖ్యం—ముందు పసుపు, తర్వాత కుంకుమ. శుద్ధి అయిన తర్వాతే శక్తి.
కుంకుమ కనుబొమ్మల మధ్య, ఆజ్ఞా స్థానంలో. పసుపు చేతులకు, కాళ్ళకు, గుమ్మానికి. లోపల శక్తి, బయట రక్షణ.

Why both turmeric and kumkum? 🌼
Turmeric comes from the earth. It purifies and it protects, which is why Gauri is made from it.
Kumkum is born from turmeric itself. Add slaked lime and the yellow turns red. That red is shakti.
So the order matters. Turmeric first, kumkum after. Purification before power, never the reverse.
Kumkum goes between the brows, at the ajna. Turmeric goes on the hands, the feet, the threshold. Power within, protection without.
