🎧It’s time to embark on our 9th Sonic Journey of 2026, and what a ride expects us! This time we have the privilege of hosting the fellow artist “Sage for The Ages” with an exclusive album listening session of their second masterful record: R-Evolution.

🔊This album responds to a world in flux, blending improvisation, song-writing, and modern harmonic language, while moving between stillness and urgency to confront environmental crisis, political inertia and personal responsibility, with clarity, restraint and emotional depth.

🎷This Saturday “mini” Kalabhumi Goes Live takes you on a music journey with Tinctures. This eclectic duo from Bangalore and Berlin will explore the nature of “Surrender” by creating impromptu lush and intricate sound-worlds for the listener. The show is brought to you in collaboration with Mindfield, an initiative by Pseutopia. 

Featuring:
- Nishad Pandey (on guitar)
- Aman Mahajan (on piano)
- Shyam Narayan (moderator)

🩵This unique live experience will explore the intimate relationship between music and mental health, a chance for the spectators to witness impromptu music creation and a performance based on honest conversations,  guided reflections and hear the artists talk about expressing the emotional landscape in music.

The artists and moderator will walk us through the intricate workings of improvisation, musical expression and inspiration, by delving into what it means to be an artist and a medium to express the intangible and inner dimensions of the self.

🎧The first Friday of each month, we offer a great opportunity to learn about music! Sonic Journeys is a music appreciation and cultural event organized by Kalabhumi music Studio, open to everyone!

🔊This time around, we invite you to explore with us the Tabla and its magic! Our presenter, Shanks Kini, played this instrument as a child and pursued it seriously into his teens until he was hijacked by rock n roll music! After a career in the Mumbai music industry, he moved to Auroville eleven years ago, and has returned to enjoy playing the tabla while supporting musical projects around the community.

🩵Two years since their debut at Kalabhumi Goes Live, they planned a big comeback… Traveling from different corners of the globe to be here and perform together once again, they promise a tight 60 min set of pure energy! Come and see them play at our backdoor amphitheatre, a place where many memorable nights of live music were written there before.

❄️KMS keeps offering premium indoor, air-conditioned and high-quality sound experiences, a staple of our 2026 live music event productions!
