ਸਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ! ਸਾਡਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਵੀ .ਪੀ. ਓ ਜੋਧਪੁਰ , ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਜੋ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਅੱਧਾ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੈ , ਵਿੱਚ 6 ਮਹੀਨਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ ਲੋਕ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਹਨ , ਪਾਣੀ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ | ਸਾਈਕਲ ਜਾ ਮੋਟਰ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਗੁਆਢੀਂਆ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਨਹੀ ਸਕਦਾ | ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਸੱਪ ਨਿਕਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਹੈ | ਸਾਡਾ ਗੁਰੂਦਵਾਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ 2 ਮਹੀਨਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬੰਦ ਹੈ | ਬੁਰੂਗ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਇਸ ਗੰਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ , ਜੋਂ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਚਿੰਤਦਾਇਕ ਵਿਸਾ ਹੈ , ਸਾਡੀ ਗਲੀ ਚ ਨਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਿਕਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ | ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੇ MLA ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ , ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ , ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਗਲੀ ਜੋਂ ਗੰਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ | ਬਹੁਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ|
We, the residents of V.P.O. Jodhpura, Tarn Taran, Punjab, a village merely half a kilometer from the city, are enduring a dire crisis. For six months, our roads have been inundated with stagnant floodwater, rendering our village a prison of despair. This relentless deluge has trapped families in their homes, with water seeping into living spaces, destroying possessions, and fostering an environment of fear and illness.
The situation is intolerable. Neighbors cannot visit one another without resorting to bicycles or motorbikes, navigating treacherous waters that conceal a more sinister threat: snakes, which endanger lives daily. Our sacred gurdwara, a cornerstone of our community, has been inaccessible for two months, depriving us of spiritual solace. The elderly and children are falling gravely ill, their health deteriorating in the face of this unrelenting waterborne menace.
We have repeatedly appealed to our MLAs and local authorities, yet our cries for help have been met with silence and inaction. This neglect is unacceptable. We implore the government to act swiftly to drain the floodwater, restore our roads, and safeguard our village from further harm. Hear the anguished voice of Jodhpura and deliver the urgent relief we so desperately need.
