The AMRUTESHWARA TEMPLE is located in the village of AMRUTHAPURA, in the CHIKMAGALURU district of the Karnataka state, India. Located 50 km from SHIVMOGGA on NH 206, Amruthapura is known for the Amruteshvara temple . The temple was built in 1196 C.E. by AMRUTHESHWARA DANDANAYAKA (lit, "commander") under HOYSALA KING VEERA BALLAL II.

The temple is a built according to HOYSALA ARCHITECTURE with a wide open mantapa (hall). The temple has an original outer wall with UNIQUE EQUALLY SPACED CIRCULAR CARVING. The temple has VIMANA ( tower) and therefore is a EKAKUTA DESIGN , and has a CLOSED MANTAPA(hall) that connects the sanctum to the LARGE OPEN MANTAPA. The rows of SHINING LATHE TURNED PILLARS that support the CEILING ART of the mantapa is a Hoysala-Chalukya decorative idiom.The mantapa has many deeply domed inner CEILING STRUCTURES adorned with FLORAL DESIGN.

The outer parapet wall of the OPEN MANTAPA has a total of 140 PANEL SCLUPTURES with depictions from the HINDU EPICS.
*The RAMAYANA is sculpted on the south side wall on 70 panels.
*The life of the HINDU GOD KRISHNA On the north side wall Depict on 25 panels.
*The scenes from the EPIC MAHABHARATA depict on the remaining 45 panels.

NARASIMHA🕉️🚩
Today is birth aniversery of God Narasimha, is a FIERCE OF AVATAR of the HINDU GOD VISHNU, one who incarnates in the form of part lion and part man to destroy evil and end RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION and calamity on Earth, thereby RESTORING DHARMA.

The word Narasimha consists of 2 WORDS "NARA" which means man, and "SIMHA" which means lion. Together the term means "man-lion", referring to a MIXED CREATURE AVATAR OF VISHNU.

His other names are
*Agnilochana (अग्निलोचन) - the one who has fiery eyes,
*Bhairavadambara (भैरवडम्बर) - the one who causes terror by roaring,
*Karala (कराल) - the one who has a wide mouth and projecting teeth,
*Hiranyakashipudvamsa

Narasimha iconography shows him with a human torso and lower body, with a lion face.HIRANYAKASHIPU DEMON is powerful brother of evil HIRANYAKSHA who had been previously KILLED BY VISHNU, who hated Vishnu for killing his brother.Hiranyakashipu gains SPECIAL POWERS by which he could NOT BE KILLED during the DAY or NIGHT, INSIDE or OUTSIDE, by ANY WEAPON, and by MAN or ANIMAL. Hiranyakashipu creates chaos, persecutes all devotees of Vishnu including his OWN SON.Vishnu understands the demon's power, then creatively adapts into a MIXED AVATAR that is neither man nor animal and kills the demon at the junction of day and night, inside and outside. Narasimha is known primarily as the 'GREAT PROTECTOR' who specifically defends and protects his devotees from evil.The most popular Narasimha mythology is the legend that protects his devotee PRAHLADA, and creatively destroys Prahlada's demonic father HIRANYAKASHIPU.

JANTAR MANTAR🕉️
In the early 18th century, MAHARAJA JAI SINGH II of Jaipur constructed 5 Jantar Mantar in total, in NEW DELHI, UJJAIN, MATHURA, VARANASI and JAIPUR; They were completed between 1724 and 1735.

Thewords JANTAR and MANTAR (or yantra and mantra) mean calculation instrument.

The Jantar have like SAMRAT YANTRA, JAI PRAKASH YANTRA, RAM YANTRA and NIYATI CHAKRA; Each of which are used to for various ASTRONOMICAL CALCULATIONS. The primary purpose of the observatory was to compile astronomical tables and to predict the TIMES and MOVEMENT OF SUN, MOON & PLANETS.

The Jantar Mantar is an EQUINOCTIAL SUNDIAL, consisting of a GIGANTIC TRIANGULAR GNOMON with the HYPOTENUSE PARALLEL TO THE EARTH AXIS. On either side of the GNOMON is a QUADRANT OF CIRCLE, PARALLEL TO THE PLANE OF THE EQUATOR . The instrument is intended to measure the TIME OF DAY, correct to half a second and declination of the Sun and the other heavenly bodies.

The Badami cave temples are a complex of HINDU and JAIN cave temples located in Badami, a town in the The caves are considered an example of INDIAN ROCK-CUT ARCHITECTURE, especially Badami CHALUKYA architecture, which dates from the 6th CENTURY. Badami was previously known as VATAPI BADAMI, the CAPITAL of the early CHALUKYA DYNASTY, which ruled much of KARNATAKA from the 6th to the 8th century. Badami is situated on the west bank of a MAN-MADE LAKE ringed by an earthen wall with stone steps; it is surrounded on the north and south by forts built in later times.

Badami, also referred to as VATAPI, VATAPIPURA, VATAPINAGARI and AGASTHYA-TIRTHA in historical texts, the capital of CHALUKYA DYNASTY in the 6th century, is at the exit point of a ravine between two steep mountain cliffs. Four cave temples in the escarpment of the hill to the south-east of the town were carved into the cliff's monolithic stone face. The escarpment is above a man-made lake called AGASTYA TEERTHA, created by an earthen dam faced with stone steps.

Bhagiratha was a legendary king of the IKSHVAKU DYNASTY who brought the River GANGA to Earth from the heavens. When he became prince of SAGARA DYNASTY, learning the awful end of his forefathers, who were unable to attain region of gods, with a sorrowful heart made over his kingly duties to his minister and went for practicing austerities to Himalayas.He did penance for years on the advice of his GURU TRITHALA. To please Ganga, to gain the release his 60,000 great-ancients from the curse of saint KAPILA . GOD GANGA told him if she will descend from the sky to the earth, the force of her fall will be difficult to sustain. She asked him to obtain the favour from sable blue throated GOD SHIVA, as no one except him is able to sustain her. He then did severe penance for SHIVA and asked him to do so. SHIVA granted him the boon, which eventually led to descent of the GODDESS Ganga in the form of the RIVER GANGA, The river is called BHAGIRATHI till it meets ALAKANANDA at 'DEVPRAYAG'.

Nataraja Sanskrit: नटराज, is a depiction of the Hindu God Shiva as the divine dancer. His dance is called Tandavam or Nadanta, depending on the context of the dance. The pose and artwork is described in many Hindu texts such as the Anshumadbhed agama and Uttarakamika agama, the dance relief or idol featured in all major Hindu Temples.

The sculpture is symbolic of Shiva as the lord of dance and dramatic arts, with its style and proportions made according to Hindu texts on arts. It typically shows Shiva dancing in one of the NATYA SHASTRA poses, holding AGNI (fire) in his left back hand, the front hand in GAJAHASTA (elephant hand) or DANDAHASTA (stick hand).MUDRA the front right hand with a wrapped snake that is in ABHAYA (fear not) mudra while pointing to a Sutra text, and the back hand holding a musical instrument, usually a DAMARU. His body, fingers, ankles, neck, face, head, ear lobes and dress are shown decorated with symbolic items, with historic period and region.

ADI SHANKARACHARYA🚩🕉️
He became scholar of vedas at the age if 7, Left home at the age of 8, Finished all his writing at the age of 16.

Adi Shankara travelled across the INDIAN SUBCONTINENT to propagate his philosophy through discourses and debates with other thinkers. He established the importance of monastic life as sanctioned in the Upanishads and Brahma Sutra, in a time when the Mīmāṃsā school established strict ritualism and ridiculed monasticism. He is reputed to have founded four 'Mathas' -Char Dham-("monasteries"), which helped in the historical development, revival and spread of Advaita Vedanta of which he is known as the greatest revivalist.
Adi Shankara is believed to be the organiser of the DASHANAMI monastic order and unified the SHANMATA tradition of worship.
