■ IBAC 2023, organised by Pirates Den and sponsored by Superfish is a competition whose primary objective is to create and spread awareness about Indian sub-continental biotope. In spite of having envious topographical varieties, sub-continental biotopes are not as popular and as explored compared to the other Continental biotopes like African or American.
■ Keeping that in mind IBAC 2023 wants its participants to create a biotope of Indian subcontinent which geographically includes seven countries, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives. The biotope tank of the interested participants can explore any aquatic location of these countries. IBAC 2023 will proudly showcase those to the world to let the people know about our own various biotope.
■ An expert judges panel which will be announced shortly, will also evaluate those biotope tanks of the participants and announce the winners.
■ The tentative date of submitting the pictures and video of the biotope tank is June 2023. The detail rules and process will be uploaded in Pirates Den group and in our official website www.piratesden.in in due course.
