The 4th Edition of The International Film Festival of Srinagar (TIFFS) is dedicated to the loving memory of the legendary music composer Madan Mohan on his centenary year.

Known as the ghazal king of Hindi cinema, Madan Mohan ji’s compositions have left an indelible mark on Indian music. From the hauntingly beautiful “Lag Jaa Gale” and “Woh Kaun Thi” to the soul-stirring melodies of “Mausam” and “Veer-Zaara”, his music continues to touch hearts across generations.

Through this dedication, TIFFS celebrates not just a composer, but an era of timeless melody and emotion that defined the golden age of Indian cinema.

Kapil Mattoo's Kashmiri Short Film Haaput ( The Bear) to be the closing film of the second edition of The International Film Festival of Srinagar (TIFFS). It will be screened in the afternoon at Tagore Hall Srinagar on 26th October 2023.
