SWEET SCREEN PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS “ROUFF DANCE OF KASHMIR” AT GOVT. GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL, ARIGAM
Budgam. June 18, 2026 – Sweet Screen Productions, Gratal Nawakadal Srinagar, is proud to present a captivating performance of the traditional Rouff Dance of Kashmir today at the Govt. Girls Middle School, Arigam.
The event is approved by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and is being organized under the prestigious Repertory Grant (Guru-Shishya Parampara) scheme. This initiative aims to preserve, promote, and pass on Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage to the younger generation through authentic folk performances.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives from Sweet Screen Productions stated: “We are honoured to receive support from the Ministry of Culture for this cultural endeavour. Appreciation is proudly presented to NBT
for successf eccentricully participating in the Workshop on “Traditional Theatre as a Medium of Education through Folk Theatre of Kashmir” organised by National Bhand Theatre, Wathoora Chadoora Budgam Kashmir from 18-05-2026 to 22-05-2026 at Highland High School, Syed Hamidpora, Nawa Bazar, Srinagar, Kashmir.
During the workshop, students received practical training in the rich tradition of Kashmiri Folk Theatre, including performance techniques, cultural values, creativity, communication skills, and educational learning through theatre activities. The programme aimed to preserve the traditional art of Kashmir while encouraging students to develop confidence, teamwork, discipline, and artistic expression through live performances and interactive sessions.
The workshop was conducted under the scheme Repertory Grant (Guru Shishya Parampara) approved by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India

Tangmarg, 19 may 2026:
The Malik badshah luk theatre lolpora tang marg , successfully presented its production “bhur pather performance” on 19th may 2026 under the Scheme of Aid. ,sangeet natak academy , at bongam tangmarg .

The event was graced by.javid Ah parry lumbedar bongam tangmarg , as the Chief Guest and Mr. Shahejahan Ahmad bhagat Chairman, All Kashmir folk Artists Association, as the Guest of Honour.

Luka pather center Presents Successful Folk Theatre Workshop at Govt. Girls Middle School Arigam

Budgam, may 19...2026:

A vibrant and culturally enriching Workshop-cum-Production of the traditional folk play “Rangmanch Against Drugs Pather” was successfully organized and presented by. Luka pathet centre ichgam Budgam at Govt. Girls Middle School Arigam, Budgam.

The programme was conducted under the approval of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, New Delhi, as part of the prestigious Guru–Shishya Parampara (Repertory Grant) Scheme for the year 2025–26.

The production was directed by gh nabi , whose artistic vision and dedication played a key role in the successful ex*****on of the workshop and performance.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and local audiences. The performance beautifully showcased the richness of Kashmiri folk theatre, leaving a deep cultural and educational impact on the attendees.

The school administration expressed heartfelt appreciation for the institute’s efforts in preserving and promoting traditional art forms. The workshop was described as highly successful and fruitful, contributing significantly to students’ cultural awareness and artistic exposure.

The Headmaster/Principal of the institution extended gratitude to the entire team of luka pather center and especially appreciated the direction and leadership of gh nabi bhat The administration also expressed hope for continued collaboration in future cultural initiatives.
