Diwar painting festival in rural Rajasthan, India, hosted by HAP Foundation.

December 28, 2026 to January 2, 2027.

A vibrant, community-oriented initiative to adorn plain walls in a rural village in Rajasthan. Seeking artists from diverse backgrounds to paint murals during a 5 day mini-festival. Artists are welcome - but not limited - to blend Rajasthani motifs with contemporary narratives, or address local pressing issues such as trash management, water conservation, women's empowerment, etc. in their wall painting. Abstract or realistic, all mural design proposals are welcome.

Send your sketch / layout of your proposed mural image. Suggested wall size is 12 feet x 20 feet.

* Accommodation & meals provided.
* Participant / help - volunteers from the village.
* Basic acrylic paint & brushes & ladders provided.
* Hosts will document & publish & promote your work!
* New Years Eve party!

LOCATION: The Village is 30 km from Sirohi, Rajasthan. 3 hours from Jodhpur / 3 hours from Udaipur. TRAVEL OPTIONS: sleeper bus, train, taxi, & rickshaw from Sirohi. All participants are responsible for their own travel.
