A tribute to the 350th Shaheedi Purab of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. 🙏

​I’m finally sharing this painting of Sri Dhubri Sahib, originally created as a commemorative magazine cover. My goal was to reimagine the Gurudwara in the "old times"—capturing the stillness and devotion of that era on the banks of the Brahmaputra. 🌾

​A humble attempt to honor a legacy of ultimate sacrifice and Chardi Kala.

Honesty time: I started this with a heart full of doubt.
​Looking at the blank paper, I felt a heavy weight of responsibility. I was terrified of making a mistake, of failing to capture the spirit of the Chhote Sahibzade. 🛡️
​But sometimes, the most important work comes from the places where we feel the most fear. This painting became a journey of faith over doubt.
