The fifth and final evening of Him Sangeet Utsav–2026 at the historic Gaiety Theatre, Shimla concluded with mesmerizing performances. 🎶
The audience witnessed a beautiful violin and dilruba jugalbandi by Gulzar Husain and Mohammad Umar, filling the theatre with soulful melodies. 🎻
The second presentation by Santosh Nayar and Company captivated the audience with the contemporary dance concept “Rahasymayi Jungle,” inspired by the powerful style of Mayurbhanj Chhau, portraying the rhythm and life of the forest through expressive choreography. 🌿💃

🎶 Sufi Melodies Captivate the Audience on Day Three of Him Sangeet Utsav–2026
The historic Gaiety Theatre came alive on the third day of Him Sangeet Utsav–2026 as the stage resonated with the powerful Sufi renditions of renowned singer Manak Ali.
With his powerful voice and expressive style, Manak Ali captivated the audience and created a memorable musical atmosphere. His performance highlighted the depth and richness of Sufi music, leaving the audience completely spellbound.
The festival is being jointly organized by the North Zone Cultural Centre and the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Department of Language & Culture, Himachal Pradesh and Gaiety Dramatic Society, celebrating the diversity and richness of India’s musical traditions.
