Meet Our Expert | Music Camp Workshop 2026

Charakung Pamai is a musician, music educator, guitar instructor, and producer. He achieved a notable distinction as a Topper in Electric Guitar Grade 4 (East India 2024 B) from RSL London.

At the Shillong School of Music, Charakung teaches Grade 4 and Grade 5 students, sharing his knowledge and passion for music. He also serves as an online guitar instructor for Tremolo School of Music in Nagaland, providing guidance to students remotely.

Charakung is currently expanding his skill set by studying Audio Engineering at Audiotech Shillong, further solidifying his foundation in the music industry.

Iajiedlang Rynjah has received formal training in Vocal Music from the London College of Music, establishing a strong academic and technical foundation in vocal performance. He has served as Music Director at Christ University, where he made meaningful contributions to the institution’s musical and cultural programs.

Since 2002, he has been actively working as a Choir Conductor, demonstrating long-standing commitment to musical leadership, ensemble training, and artistic development. In addition, he has been the recipient of several accolades in inter-school and collegiate singing competitions, reflecting his excellence and consistency as a vocalist.

He remains actively engaged in songwriting and musical composition, continuing to contribute creatively to the field of music.

Idaka Grace is a dedicated piano teacher and educator based in Shillong. She is the founder of GRACE MUSIC ROOM, a music academy offering lessons in piano, violin, guitar and drums. She has a strong passion for nurturing young learners and supporting their musical journey.

Idaka also teaches both Piano and English at Shillong Chamber International School, providing a structured, engaging and supportive learning environment. She helps students develop their abilities while focusing on building strong technique, musical understanding, and confidence.

She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Teaching, further expanding her expertise in educational practices and pedagogy.

Meet Our Expert | Music Camp Workshop 2026

Darrell Raj Gurung is a dedicated guitarist, educator, and emerging Audio Engineer from Meghalaya. He holds a B.A. in Music from St. Anthony’s College. He previously served as a Guitar Instructor at Harmini Music Academy and currently teaches at Lam Jingshai Youth Centre, where he trains and mentors upcoming musicians with passion and precision.

Darrell is also the first musician from Meghalaya to be officially sponsored by Aurora DSP (Poland) and Polychrome plugin a milestone that reflects his skill, discipline, and commitment to the craft.
As a member of the metal band Necroscope, has won multiple competitions, building a reputation for delivering intense performances and socially conscious music. His work extends beyond the stage, he previously served as a Brand Ambassador for the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, using his influence to support meaningful causes.

He is currently pursuing a Diploma in Audio Engineering at Audiotech Academy, expanding his expertise in music production and modern audio technology.
