“Khlur-Thma”, the name literally translates to a Battle of Stars, the origin of words being from the Khasi language, spoken primarily in the state of Meghalaya. Khlur-Thma was launched in the 5th season of the IIM Shillong Golf Cup as a case study competition sponsored by Shillong Lajong Football Club. With enthusiastic participation from over 200 teams from top B-Schools ISB Hyderabad, XLRI Jamsh
edpur and IIM Shillong emerging the winners. Last year during Golf Cup Season 6, Khlur-Thma was launched as a standalone event as annual B School Fest of IIM Shillong and continues to happen along with Golf Cup which gives the opportunity to interact with the corporates, business magnates and avid golfers. This season of Khlur-Thma will have its theme as ‘STRIKE TO SURVIVE’. It captures the essence of today’s scenario where in the traditional concept of strive to survive doesn’t work anymore. It is time to rise above the phase of struggling and ACT. We need to strike each problem we are facing with the right acumen and understand the intricacies involved and break open the shackles that have held us till now. We need to STRIKE TO SURVIVE.
