Avchetan Theatre is developing Badal Sircar's iconic play in Bangla - Hattamalar Oparey. We are looking for more cast members based out of Bangalore who are fluent in Bangla. Anyone who is interested please email us with your acting experience summary on [email protected]

Maulik Pandey ने अवचेतन (Sub-Consciousness) के लिए ये कविता लिखी है, जो मैं आप सबके सामने प्रस्तुत करना चाहूँगा :

~@ अवचेतन ग्रुप क्या है @~

हम हैं कलाकन्द और नीम चढ़ा,
पपड़ी घाव जैसे फिर से उखड़ा,
सर्द कुहरे में देंगे इक गर्म चाय कुल्लड़,
और साथ पैरों में गीली हवाई चप्पल।

साँसों में थोड़ा विराम लगेगा
सुकूँ को भी आराम मिलेगा
माज़ी में लगन, तपिश विश्वास है
आगे बस आप दर्शकों का साथ है।

यहां ,धक्का सा भी हो सकता है !
अवाक यहां पर सस्ता है !
बेबाकी इधर मौसमी नहीं होती,
फाकामस्ती भी मंच पर ही होगी।

हम नश्तर से भी चुभाएँगे ,
कभी कांटों से तुम्हें हंसाएंगे ,
विधि से विधा निखारेंगे ,
चेतन को भी संग पखारेंगे ,
कभी तन्जों से ज्ञान सा झाड़ेंगे
पर शेख़ी तनिक ना बघारेंगे ।

लोकरंजन सिर्फ मुखर ना होगा
प्रत्यक्ष मुखौटे सतही लगे भले ,
परोक्ष चेहरा लेकिन गहरा होगा ।
चकाचौंध हमारी दंग कर जाएगी
और साथ में आंख भी फड़काएगी ।

रस तुमसे सारे निचोड़ेंगे ,
ऐवज में चेतन को छेड़ेंगे ।
जब अपने विवेक से जूझते हुए
तुम ख़ुद की मिथ्याओं से टकराओगे
बिफरे सवाली से भटकोगे कुछ देर
फिर आनन्द उसी में पाओगे ।
और जब इस आनन्द की लत लग जाएगी
तो तलबी से, गर्मजोशी में सने हुए
तुम लौट यहीं फिर आओगे ।
तुम लौट यहीं फिर आओगे ।।
