Krishnapriya Dotara — A Journey Remembered

The photos and videos I am sharing today were captured several years ago. They mark the beginning of the journey of my handcrafted "Krishnapriya" Dotara.

The very first owner of this instrument was my respected guru-brother, Sisir Fakir. It remains a matter of great pride and inspiration for me that the journey of Krishnapriya began in the hands of such a dedicated folk musician.

With your love, the trust of countless artists, and by my Guru's blessings, Krishnapriya has grown to become the dotara I have built more than any other. Over the years, it has reached musicians and folk music lovers across Bangladesh, India, and beyond, which is one of the greatest rewards of my journey as a luthier.

These old photos and videos are more than memories—they are milestones in my journey as an instrument maker. My heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who has trusted my craftsmanship and supported me from the very beginning.
