Hola freshers!
Are you someone who's been tapping their toes and busting a move whenever the music starts playing?

Then put on your dancing shoes and get ready to show off your moves as The Choreography and Dance Section goes recruiting!!

To join our family, all we expect from you is passion for dance and a lot of enthusiasm.So grab the opportunity, let your love for dancing take center stage!

The auditions will be conducted in three rounds :

* Round 1 - Prepare a short solo sequence of 60 to 90 seconds. Based on your performance, you will be shortlisted for round 2.

Upload the song you will perform on with file name *Name_Branch*, Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/17PFEcn6BokkOlTuJIYmF_BmWF5DQDJb9
(Also, you may bring the song in a pen drive/cellphone.)

* Round 2 - Spontaneous dancing, where you will have to dance continuously for about 3 to 5 minutes on the songs of our choice to test your versatility.

* Round 3 - Personal Interviews, where we will have a short interaction to know more about each other.

Details of rounds 2 and 3 will be shared after shortlisting based on round 1.

This is an incredible opportunity for those who have a passion for dance and movement to showcase their skills and creativity.
We encourage you to come prepared, bring your best moves and positive energy, and let your love for dance shine through.

Hello IITR junta! It's time to hit the stage with your dance moves as Choreography and Dance Section is back with Friends of Section.

FOS gives you the opportunity, where you can come and learn different choreographies from us and perform on stage in front of the IITR crowd. You can select multiple categories:
Solo
Duet
Group Dance(self prepared)
Group Dance(Taught by Choreography and Dance Section)
If you are participating in duet/group dance(self prepared) with friends, one of you should register.

We will also be recruiting from 1st year. Hence, it is also a golden chance for all those dance enthusiasts out there to impress us during the practice sessions.
It is mandatory for recruitment applicants to attend the FOS practices.

Practices begins: 10th Feb '23
Practice Timings: 6:30 - 8:30 PM (Weekdays), as per requirement (Weekends)
Venue: Choreo Room (Room 212), SAC
