Middle-earth fans just got one of the BIGGEST RPG announcements in years 🤯🔥

Warhorse Studios — the creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance — have now OFFICIALLY confirmed they’re developing a massive open-world Lord of the Rings RPG set in Middle-earth ⚔️🌍

According to IGN, the studio confirmed:
🗺️ “An open world Middle-earth RPG”
⚔️ “A new Kingdom Come adventure”
🔥 Both projects are currently in development at Warhorse Studios

The announcement came directly from the studio itself after weeks of rumors 👀

What makes this CRAZY is that Warhorse already created one of the most immersive medieval RPG experiences ever made with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 🏰

In Crimson Desert, the Hwando Katana is a sleek, single-edged samurai-type weapon. It is a superior early-game weapon, offering significantly higher base damage than other options found in the opening regions. It is located inside a storage room within the Lioncrest Manor, on the northwest side of Hernand Town.

To obtain it, first purchase a Key and a Thief’s Mask from the back alley merchant near the windmill on the south side of town, also marked on the map. Once you have the mask and key, head to Lioncrest Manor, go to the left-side building and enter through the back windows to completely avoid the guards and enter second floor, use the key to unlock the storage room to your right on the second floor; the Hwando is found inside the glowing chest in the storage room.

The Hwando Katana comes with 19 base attack, Lvl1 Critical, attack and Stamina Siphon, making it a high-tier offensive asset to have at early-game. These effects can be modified or replaced by visiting any of the witches later, to ensure the blade aligns with your specific build.

Crimson Desert just received another major update, packed with a ton of amazing changes 🔥

The update introduces the ability to toggle headgear visibility, meaning you can now equip a helmet and benefit from the stats, but hide it on the character.

Most importantly, the private storage chest can hold up to 1,000 items when fully upgraded, which is a massive increase from the previous 240 items.

New armor and helmets are now available for cats. Go ahead and customize your feline friend even more!

Additionally, previous movement is now an option, meaning players can switch back to the old controls. In the same vein, stamina consumption for mounts has been adjusted.

Fans of Crimson Desert can’t stop talking about its ridiculously gorgeous open world, a place so serene it practically begs players to put down their swords and start traveling instead 🔥

Peaceful forests, lively wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes make the game feel like a fantasy postcard that accidentally became interactive entertainment. Unfortunately, every relaxing stroll through paradise eventually leads to one thing: Yann ruining absolutely everything again.

Yann has rapidly earned the reputation of being the most annoying NPC in the entire game, and players are reaching levels of frustration previously reserved for es**rt missions and broken stealth sections. No matter what disaster unfolds, poor Kliff is always stuck cleaning up the mess like an exhausted babysitter trying to stop a toddler from eating rocks.

The community finally snapped when one player released a mod replacing a training dummy with a model that looks exactly like Yann, instantly becoming one of the game’s most celebrated unofficial additions. Fans are calling the mod “necessary therapy,” praising it as the perfect way to vent years’ worth of bottled-up rage caused by Yann’s endless shenanigans.

Still, a surprising number of players admit that while Yann may be a massive pain, he’s at least memorable - which is more than can be said for the dozens of other NPCs whose names were forgotten approximately three seconds after meeting them!
