SOLO SINGING COMPETITION 2022
A. Rules and regulations:-
1. The last date of registration / online form fill-up is 06th December’2022.
2. Hard copy of the Registration form is also available. Kindly contact (Check below)
with Bihan representative for the same. Last date for submission of Hard copy of
Registration form is 06th December’2022.
3. Application Fee: Rs. 100.00 (Rupees One Hundred only). Check below to see the
payment option.
4. Last date of payment is 06th December’2022.
5. Competition will start 09:30 AM (11.12.2022) onwards and will continue till evening.
Participants may please plan accordingly. Competition venue is “Jawaharlal Nehru
Kalakendra, Shyamali (MECON) colony, Doranda, Ranchi-02 (Jharkhand).
6. In the First Round all the participants will be allowed to sing songs of their choice. In
this round participants have to sing any song of his/her choice without music track /
musical instrument.
7. Number of qualifying round will be decided by Organizing committee and will be
informed to the Participants during the competition.
8. For the FINALE round, contestants selected from the previous round sing on a theme
given by Judges along with Professional Musicians.
9. Time for Stage rehearsal / Instruments setting will be declared during the competition.
10. Duration of the song shall be between 4 to 5 minutes.
11. The participants should bring their own musical instruments, if required, in the final
performance.
12. Participants will not be allowed to refer to the lyrics while singing.
13. Choice of song is open to the participants but the song should not have any slangs or
derogatory language.
14. Contestants are to be punctual for their scheduled timeslots. Failure to do so will
result in the shortening or forfeiting of audition or rehearsal time.
15. The participants will be judged on the song selection, voice quality, clarity, rhythm
and their appeal to the audience.
16. Top three winners will be awarded with Memento, Certificates and Cash Prize.
17. The Judges' decisions on the results are Final. No correspondence or appeal shall be
entertained.
18. All contestants must inform us at least 2 working days in advance if they wish to
withdraw from the competition. There shall be no refund of registration fee in the
event of withdrawal.
19. By submitting personal information for registration, all participants acknowledge that
they have read through the competition Rules & Regulations and consent to allow the
Organizing Committee to use all personal information for administrative purposes and
data analysis. All personal data provided will be kept confidential at all times.
20. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change any of the rules and
regulations without prior notice.
21. All participants agree and automatically grant permission to the Organizing
Committee on the usage of their photographs and/or videos taken.
22. Contestants are to remain contactable by the Organizing Committee throughout the
competition period.
