Farm machinery was not very fairly available in this part of the country. With human labour only a limited amount of ploughing was possible at this terrain and with the available work force in the family. This mother's days we empowered our women farmers by providing tools that can help improve the agricultural practices in a sustainable and economical way. Thanks to the Dept of Horticulture Garo Hills for planting the Coffee Plants in the wild decade's back . The plants are healthy and thriving in the ecology of Garo Hills . These plants have now regenerated the coffee saplings on its own . These are now picked and distributed among our farmers for commercial and sustainable plantations. This is a perfect example of a self sustaining circular economy.

First time trials of IISR Pragati Turmeric in Jharkhand using natural farming . In this model plot we have planted Moringa alongside Kalmegh , Ginger , Turmeric , naturally growing Bhumi Amla , Satawari , jamun all using just natural inputs. This model farm is of 9 acre and the sole purpose is spreading awareness among the remotest villages of Jharkhand.
