Playtime!!
This is the cub of the leopard known as Bahati, a moment from Jan 2023. Bahati has a big, beautiful territory. Certain areas are very dense. Some areas are full of rocks. This was slightly deep into the bush. They had a kill. First day when we got to the scene the cub was a bit scared. But I think, being extremely quiet, helped to gain the little ones' trust after a while. As he got comfortable, he started to play with the small bushes around.

Blue Hour White Rhino

Most photographers are always on the hunt for the "Golden Hour". Although I love golden light, some of your best sightings only happen at or just after sunset during the "Blue Hour". This is the light present just before sunrise or after sunset and it takes on a cooler blue shade. This results in unique and striking photographs.

The blue hour is also associated with low light which makes it particularly challenging. On this specific trip, I had the privilege of using a Sony 70-200 F/2.8 lens. This made low light photography a breeze! The depth of field with this lens was simply incredible!

We spent time with this White Rhino just after sunset, a perfect subject!
