Planned on the ground floor alongside the living, dining and kitchen is the parent’s bedroom. A space with comparatively lesser utilisation, this modestly furnished room is designed in shades of grey and blue. Ascending upstairs, the winding staircase area takes your breath away with a stunning chandelier hanging from the top and a glass railing. Rendering a much needed volume and depth to the home, the staircase is placed at the centre.Â
The first floor is all about the primary and kid’s bedrooms. This theme is seen quite clearly in the master bedroom where sparks of wood, textures and warm lights energise its narrative. Wood always gives a sense of opulence and comfort to homes. Bestowing a snug approach, a wooden four poster bed with a beige patterned backdrop imbues the room with a soft dynamism.
The kid’s room is suffused in pink and white, paired with accents of blue. A bunk bed derived from the notion of yin and yang marks the space as a private domain adhering to the sensibilities of young minds. The top and bottom areas are separated by the rope enclosure and wall colours. Retaining the continuity, the curtains with similar colours and patterns are integrated to merge with the walls. The study table and soft board design are kept simple to flatter the overall colour scheme of the space.
Some corners in this house will make you want to curl up and read a book, wrapped in the comfort of its colours and its homely vibe whereas the plush appeal will ignite the urge to host those pending guests for a delectable meal.
