Bengali Association Rajkot To promote awareness of Bengali ethnic identity and its cultural and spiritual heritage. F/210 on 12th April 1979.

BENGALI ASSOCIATION RAJKOT (BAR), a non-profit making society was registered under Gujarat-256 Act Societies Registration No. Associations like ours exist solely because of the active participation of members. BAR invites like minded people to become a member and be a part of the ever growing family. OUR MISSION
- Promote awareness of Bengali ethnic identity and its cultural and spiritual heritage

.
- Organise cultural events involving Bengalis and other Indians in the traditional and contemporary songs, drama, and dances to build up cultural relations amongst different communities and national integrity.
- To award prizes/felicitate to meritorious students excelling in sports and academic careers. To organise Blood Donation camps.
- Run library and coaching classes to learn different languages like Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati and others.
- Build a ‘Kalibari’ which will become the epicentre for the Bengalis and for other communities in the Rajkot City to gather to worship Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi, Maa - Saraswati and to celebrate those festivals, apart from daily rituals of Kali Puja and to distribute it’s prasada every day.
- Organise events to raise funds for the relief of distress and other charitable causes.
