We are very excited to present this evening in Durgaparameshwari temple Hall Sullia , our very unique and rare production - Kerege Daana ( ಕೆರೆಗೆ ದಾನ ) , a dance ballet in Arebhashe - a regional dialet of Kodagu and Sullia province. This is a translated version by our member - Smt. Hemalatha Kajegadde from the well-known play written by Betageri Krishna Sharma - Kerege Haara ( ಕೆರೆಗೆ ಹಾರ. ) Being one of the very rare classical works in Arebhashe , we extend our gratitude to Arebhashe Academy for their support , and Lokesh Urubail for being the source of encouragement and support always. We have talented artistes in the cast - Deepak Kumar , Samanvaya Manipal Girish Kumar , Sumangala Girish , Thejasvi Ambekallu , Akshatha K , and many more.

Shree Mookambika Cultural Academy, Puttur is very happy to announce that 7 of its artistes are being selected as graded artistes of Doordarshan. Sinchana Deva , Soujanya Acharya , Vindhya Karanth and Vibha Shree V Gowda are selected as ' B ' graded artistes of DD. Likewise Samanvaya Manipal - the music director and Girish Kumar - the Teacher are selected as ' B High' grade artistes and these two are first in Puttur Taluk to get this grade.
And finally Deepak Kumar - the director has been selected as ' A top' grade artiste and he is the first person in Coastal Karnataka - Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts to receive this honour.
Congratulations to all. SMCA feels very honoured by your achievements.
