Punawale in Pimpri Chinchwad is supposed to be the next but looking at the way the things are right now doesn't look like any where close to Baner.
The roads in Punawale are pathetic since last 3-4 years the condition is the same. Development is happening at a rapid pace but roads are yet to be developed properly - no infrastructure is in place - No proper roads, roads are underdeveloped, quality is not maintained no proper footpaths for people to walk.
And come rainy season the condition is worse. Look at the pics. The administration in this location is turning a blind eye to people's problem.
Sorry to say but the condition in Punawale is really sad. A rich village but underdeveloped.
Driving is the worst out here - Truckers drive at full speed, the water tankers transporting water are the worst drivers, rash driving, no lane discipline, 2 wheelers,cars don't maintain lane discipline everyone wants to overtake as if it's a competition. Don't know why the hurry.
Even Mahanagar Gas (MGL) is yet to provided to the residents though connections have been given but supply not yet started, residents in Punawale were supposed to get the connections in 2020 but due to covid the delay happened. But after that what!
It's been more than a year now things are normal why the delay in supplying the gas?
The residents have to come together to fight for their rights.
People have to be educated regarding driving rules.
It's not about living in high rises it's also about living and caring for all. Live in harmony. Maintain your surroundings keep it clean.
Make Punawale a better place to live in comfort. 🙏
