About TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share in a TED-like experience. At TEDxSIUKirkee and other TEDx events, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

A warm welcome to our Ninth speaker 🎤 - Samir Kapoor

The passion towards the adrenaline pump veered Samir to start a new health revolution, MultiFit (CO-FOUNDER & CMD MULTIFIT).
Samir is also the co-founder and director of Orange Ivy Play Schools and a certified Graphologist from the Institute of Graphology, Pune.

A warm welcome to our Eighth speaker 🎤 - Surmai Kaushik

Surmai is a 26-year-old active adventurist and the only one to have represented Mahindra Group in the Antarctic continent with Robert Swan- the first man to have walked to both poles.
At a very young age, it instilled in her a sense of adventure and love for the mountains. She leads CSR at Mahindra Susten. A backpacker, a conservationist, educator, and a marathon runner.

Yash is a Youth Mentor, Public Speaker, and a Young Published Author with his award-winning and acclaimed Debut Novel, "A Celebration In Tribulation," published last year at the age of 16. Amongst his numerous accolades, he has been recognised for his works as an author & awarded TCC REX Karamveer Chakra Award by iCOGNO (in association with UN). He has delivered multiple TEDx Talks, and is working as a Young Motivational Speaker right now.

A warm welcome to our Sixth speaker 🎤 - Manish Kumar Tyagi

Manish used to be an Indian Navy Commander until, in 2014, he decided to become a Stand-up Comedian.

He was an integral part of a very popular comedy festival that took place in Auckland, NZ & Sydney, Australia.

Manish has spoken at Josh Talks, 12 TEDx conclaves, has performed regularly at corporate gigs and at multiple platforms such as IamSMEofIndia, Madhyaam, Tata Sky, Tanishq, Tata Motors, VLCC etc..

He is also an aspiring model and actor who has, to date, under his belt, one online ad and 2 web series.

A warm welcome to our Fifth speaker 🎤 - ANIL JOSHI

Anil is a business technocrat with 20 years of experience in IT, Product Development, Business Consulting and the Offshoring industry. Starting his professional career in HCL Technologies, Anil went on to create a start-up and then working in top business consulting companies. During his stint at Mckinsey, Anil was a founding member of McKinsey Solution Office, heading service operations in India. Currently, Anil is working with BCG, and setting up their product offering named BCG Omnia. Anil is an alumnus of Delhi University where he was a bronze medalist in Bachelors of Mathematics and also an alumnus of JNU where he completed his Masters in Computer Applications.
