Mad About Civilisations — The Kalyani School, Pune

Today, The Kalyani School proudly presented “Mad About Civilisations,” a vibrant and educational Megha event celebrating the diversity and richness of world civilizations. This specially curated programme took students, teachers, and visitors on a fascinating journey through the history, culture, art, and achievements of major civilisations from around the globe.

The event showcased representations of ancient and classical civilisations, including:
• Ancient Egypt — with iconic pyramids, hieroglyphics, and pharaohs
• Indus Valley — featuring urban planning and seals
• Mesopotamia — the cradle of writing and early law
• Ancient Greece — philosophy, democracy, and theatre
• Roman Empire — engineering, law, and architecture
• Chinese Civilisation — inventions like paper, silk, and the Great Wall
• Mayan and Aztec Cultures — astronomy, pyramids, and calendar systems
• Indian Civilisation — rich traditions, languages, and sciences

Each civilisation was brought to life through student presentations, creative exhibits, costumes, models, charts, and interactive demonstrations. The young learners demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and deep understanding of the societies they represented.
