Trk DHOOM Music Academy

Trk DHOOM Music Academy Trk DHOOM is a Pune based music academy. It is a place to learn to play Djembe, Cajon, other percuss Our students range from the ages of 6 to 70 years.

The Academy is run by Pallavi (Indian Vocals) and Nitin Satav (Percussion) and their passionate team. There is no age limit to learn music. Children’s intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy development is enhanced by music. For adults, music acts as a stress reliever and a brain trainer along with many other benefits. For those who think they have missed out on learning music in everyday hustle bustle of life, we believe, you have not!

"Project Trk DHOOM” is a vibrant percussion fusion band conceptualised and designed by Nitin Satav ,where you’ll get to experience Indian classical music performed in a contemporary fusion style.
The program features a rich ensemble of instruments including djembe, cajón, darbuka, harmonium, and shakers.

You’ll hear an exciting blend of rhythms — Latin, African, Arabian, and Indian — coming together to create a unique musical journey.

One of the highlights of the band is watching young and adult (age 10 to 65 years) performers play Indian classical tabla vocabulary in a fusion format. Without any tension, they simply enjoy the music as they perform — and that joy is what truly sets this band apart.
