Hi friends, I have explored water in different types colour effects with needlework. That is restless and turmoiled water, calm water reflecting greenery around, weaves on sand near seashore, rocks and emerald water, corals and fishes, sunset and chinese nets. It's all about my observation and skill to catch them in stitches.

Hi friends. Exploring birds, butterflies, the angels with beautiful and colorful wings with needlework is not a easy job. We have to first study colors of feathers, it's mixing and direction of the fall of feathers. Then selecting the right threads stitch it on cloth with our skills. For face use of small stitches is necessary, but for feathers we can use longer stitches to show good and natural effects. With background we enhance the beauty of artwork and make it perfect.

Landscape with needlework

While exploring different Landscapes with Needlework, we have to first work on highlighted or prominent objects, taking into consideration the details. Then we go slowly into background. Here also selection of color threads and their shades is very important to show, light shadow effects and distance. When there are two or more things of same type, like trees, we have to explore them with the use of different shades of same color to differentiate. To create three dimensional effect and depth, direction of the stitches matters, horizontally, vertically or slanting. Size of the stitch also varies as per details.

Hi friends. Makings portrait with needlework is very tedious, but challenging job. There are small small things we have to take into consideration, like overall feelings on face, light effects, details of things we are going to explore in that particular portrait. Eyes, nose and ears are important. We have to study its structure before and capture everything in stitches. So chose carefully size, direction of stitches, color of threads and stitch it with acquired skill and complete it slowly, steadily stitch by stitch.
