Vernon’s 70th Birthday celebration🤩.

Had a wonderful afternoon celebrating with the man who’s done so much for us and with us, Vernon Cardoz ♥️. The weather again was brilliant, the company warm (close family and a few friends), speeches and surprises, dancing (had Bryan Rodrigues join us on guitar), acoustic jam ups with the cajon, guitar and keys and a meal that felt home cooked (although it was catered). Just the right kinda party😊.

Here’s wishing you a lifetime of good health, peace, prosperity and the love of family and friends Vernon. God bless.

It was such a beautiful day. The sun was shining bright, there was a slight chill in the air and we just knew it was going to be a good day! Dropped in at the venue, The Grand, for a sound check and then back to Nando’s, for the second time😁. Loved it that much.

And just like that it was evening, time to go back and do what we love to do, sing! The hall looked gorgeous in the night with the candle lit tables and everyone dressed in their elegant best! Melburnians do love to dress up I must say! Sharing the stage with Redemption was such a pleasure again, but this time they as a trio🙌🏼. The about 500 crowd boogied non stop right from 7:20 pm to 12 am♥️, an eclectic mix of music right from the waltz to the cha cha and jive, disco, reggae, Sri Lankan and Goan baila and those good old retro hits. A night to remember for sure!

Thank you Ellis Fernandes and Dorellis Goan Portuguese Sausages and Spices for an amazing event. Well organised, thoughtfully coordinated and very well executed. 🤩

Today we were out of the house and on the road almost the whole day. But in a relaxed kinda way. Started the day by visiting the Dorellis factory with a guided tour by Ellis himself. Was wonderful learning about the whole meticulous process, from making the sausage to smoking them and then packaging and label printing.🤩

Then drove by to the venue, The Grand on Cathie’s lane, and were blown away with the whole setup! The tables so elegantly decorated, the chandeliers and lights and ambience looked right out of a fairy tale. ♥️. It’s going to be an elegant evening for sure 💯.

And it was shopping time again! Browsing through Moorabin DFO and Westfield Southland and all the fabulous discounts 😍, browsing turned into buying🤦🏾. Glad we’ve got 30kgs of baggage allowance, will definitely need it😅. Lunch was burgers at Grill’d at the mall. So good!!

We tried Malaysian for dinner today, hosted by Ellis and Doreen 🤩 at The Kitchen Malaysian 💯. Spot on again…the duck, pork, squid, fish cake, mushroom and the desserts. Absolutely yum. Definitely put on weight! For sure 😅

Now all set warm up tomorrow’s cold Melbourne night with some singing and dancing, T&R style♥️.

Travelled to Melbourne today. Thankfully the match got over just in time for us to leave for the airport 😅. On landing, decided to take the bus to Waterways where we’re put up and it was nice. Really comfortable. Better than taking an uber IMO.

Juggling between A2B (a South Indian joint) and Nando’s for lunch. Duh! Nando’s won obviously😅. Don’t get it in Goa. And it was delicious. Totally worth it, specially the Naughty Natas💯

Met up with Titus and Ursula (They’d organised our previous show in Melbourne in ‘23 ♥️) and went to this quaint Thai restaurant called Brown Rice for dinner. The food was so good and the presentation even better🤩. Authentic Thai curry at its best! The weighing scale isn’t our best friend right now 😂

Tammy’s day out 😄.

Catching up with friends like family and making memories in Sydney. Went for a Drive via Lakemba (Middle Eastern Suburb) to Campsie (Little Korea) and got some shopping done at Big W and Vinnies. I got my warm Uggs and felt jackets just in time for the Melbourne cold. 🥶. Made a quick stop at Cooks River at Hurlstone Park for a nice panoramic video and then straight to lunch, a Portuguese Lunch at that! (My favourite Bacalhao♥️) at Silvas in Petersham. And then for some Portuguese Tart at Sweet Belem Cafe at Petersham. Our drive home was via Marrickville (The PMs suburb) and Earlwood (Greek locality)

Engelbert Humperdinck! Such a Legend!

Finally got to watch him Live in concert after having covered a lot of his songs on our shows. This was surreal. His wit and humour in between songs (and sometimes during songs too😅) was so endearing, it was unexpected. Being able to do what he does and with passion at the age of 90 is beyond inspiring.

So glad we got this opportunity ♥️
