"Bid adieu, the great son of Nesang, Sh. S C Negi, DIG BSF ( Retd.)".
Yesterday we lost Sh. Sharab Chandub Negi g in a tragic accident during an expedition to Indo-Sino border. He was 70 years old but was still a fitness icon and inspiration for all the mountaineers. At the age of 56, he became the oldest Indian in the world to scale Mount Everest on 24th May 2006. He was also the highest-ranking official to accomplish the feat. It was his disciplined life style and the rush of adrenalin that helped him achieving goals throughout his life. He did what many youngsters would not even dare. Scaling high peaks of Himalayas was his passion and he did what he loved to do till his last breath. Today we deeply mourn the loss of such a great personality.
Rest in peace brave heart! 🙏💐

Today is the death anniversary of late Sh Daulat Singh Negi, IPS a brave police officer from Nesang's Boris family who sacrificed his life while fighting against the ULFA militants when he was trapped in an ambush on 29th July, 1990. A soldier down to earth who had seen many ups and downs in his personal and professional career. Salute to the brave heart. 🇮🇳🙏
