इस विशेष अवसर पर "पटना जू" द्वारा पेंटिंग एवं पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।

यदि आप प्रकृति से प्रेरित होकर पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश अपनी कला के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत करना चाहते हैं, तो 3 जून 2026, रात 10 बजे तक अपनी पेंटिंग एवं पोस्टर ऑनलाइन अपलोड कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति अपनी रचनात्मकता प्रदर्शित करें।

पटना स्थित संजय गांधी जैविक उद्यान (Patna Zoo) में अब पर्यटकों का भ्रमण और भी आसान हो गया है। जू प्रशासन द्वारा शुरू की गई 'पटना जू ऐप' और वेबसाइट के माध्यम से आप घर बैठे ऑनलाइन टिकट बुक कर सकते हैं और उद्यान के भीतर स्मार्ट नेविगेशन व वन्यजीवों की विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। इसके अलावा, प्रवेश द्वार पर स्थित डिजिटल कियोस्क से भी टिकट बुकिंग की सुविधा उपलब्ध है। साथ ही, बेहतर अनुभव के लिए आप गाइड काउंटर से सशुल्क कार्ट और जू गाइड सेवा का लाभ भी उठा सकते हैं।

दिनांक 20 मार्च 2026 को संजय गांधी जैविक उद्यान, पटना में विश्व गौरैया दिवस उत्साहपूर्वक मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर माननीय मंत्री, अपर मुख्य सचिव (ACS) एवं वन विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान गौरैया संरक्षण के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला गया तथा आमजन, विद्यार्थियों एवं प्रकृति प्रेमियों को पर्यावरण संरक्षण हेतु जागरूक किया गया। उपस्थित अधिकारियों ने भी गौरैया एवं अन्य पक्षियों के संरक्षण के लिए सामूहिक प्रयासों पर बल दिया।

इस अवसर पर सभी ने मिलकर गौरैया जैसी महत्वपूर्ण पक्षी प्रजाति के संरक्षण का संकल्प लिया।

आइए, हम सब मिलकर गौरैया और अपने पर्यावरण की रक्षा करें।

Wildlife Week 2025 Celebration at Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Patna

On the occasion of Wildlife Week 2025, an important MoU was signed between the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bihar and in collaboration with Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) for the conservation and recovery of the Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus) — one of India’s most iconic and endangered riverine species.

This partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening conservation efforts, scientific research, and public awareness to secure a safer future for Gharials in Bihar’s river ecosystems.
