Yesterday was National Teacher's Day, a day when students, whose hearts are full of admiration for their teachers' guidance and wisdom, come together to share their thoughts and well-wishes. It's a joy to see the thoughtful gifts—pens, diaries, and sometimes even books. Though I am not encouraging the gift should be in fashion.

One of our brilliant students from the department presented me with "Fossil Men: The Quest for the Oldest Skeleton and the Origins of Humankind" by Kermit Pattison. I'd spotted this intriguing book on social media but hadn’t yet delved into it. Now, with a few months of reading ahead, I’m eager to explore the mysteries within.

What makes this gift even more special isn't just the book itself but the insightful questions and issues written inside by the gifter. Their curiosity and engagement are the real treasures.

आज ही दिन (5 मई) आठ वर्ष पुर्व (2016) मैने भारतीय पुरातत्त्व सर्वेक्षण🙏 में साढ़े सात वर्ष सेवा देने के उपरान्त अगले दिन (6 मई) काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय🙏में अपनी सेवा प्रारम्भ की थी, कुल 08 वर्ष हो जायेंगें कल!
