Itanagar Police Station seizes 91.69 gms suspected He**in, arrests 4 including 2 policemen

On 30/06/2022, based on reliable sources about selling of drugs by one suspected person from Poma, police team engaged and caught 2 accused near RK Mission red handedly. Accordingly case has been registered vide Ita PS c/ no-160/22 u/s-21(b) of NDPS Act and endorsed it to Insp Tasso.

Initially, Teli Topu Camdir and Tage Lai were arrested who revealed their source as 2 other men. Accordingly, the team verified the information and nabbed the two who turned out to be the HC Satya Pal Singh (APP) and CT Tamchi Joseph, 4th IRBn. Both men were deployed in Capital Police.

A total of 64 vials weighing 91.69 grams with vials seized from Teli Topu Camdir S/o late Teli Tubin of Vill- Rakap,PO/PS- Balijan. One vial weighing 1.44 gram found from Sh. Tage Lai,s/ o Sh. Tage Rido of Vill- Mudang Tage,Po/ps- Ziro. One Mahindra Bolero used for delivery and proceed of transaction cash Rs. 32,000 seized from Tamchi Joseph and Satya Pal Singh. All the four persons have been arrested in the instant case.

SDPO Itanagar K Sikom APPS, Insp P Simi OC PS Itanagar, Insp T Tasso and team have done excellent work in identifying and nabbing these men involved in the drug trade.

Capital police is working tirelessly in the war against drugs. Any person involved in the drug trade will not be spared. Capital police urges the people of Itanagar Capital to support in the fight against drugs by giving information on drugs supply and help drug abuse victims. Further, efforts are being made to identify other suppliers.
