Cl osing our September Sofar Goa show was — a Kolkata-based music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and educator who has been shaping sounds for ovClosing our September Sofar Goa show was — a Kolkata-based music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and educator who has been shaping sounds for ov 15 years. 🎶✨

With two concept albums (The Incredible Journey of Light and The Incident 2019) and collaborations with bands like Parekh & Singh, Kendraka, and Lakkhichhara, Rivu has built a reputation for creating immersive, progressive soundscapes. Selected as one of only 10 global artists for the UK’s FAMLAB residency, his artistry spans not only performances but also film, ads, and dance productions. 🌍🎹

At our gig, his instrumental set captivated everyone — weaving textures, moods, and melodies that felt cinematic yet intimate. It was the kind of performance that didn’t just play to the ears but resonated deep within, wrapping up the night on a transcendental note. 🌙💛

Our second act of the night was pure magic ✨ — and .music , two rising stars in India’s indie scene, who together transported us into a soundscape that was surreal and spellbinding. 🌙🎶

🎤 Kia Smith is a singer-songwriter whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with soul-stirring melodies. With her honest lyrics and emotive voice, she has been making waves as one of the most promising new voices in the indie circuit.

🎹 Juhi Varma is known for her bold explorations in electronic and experimental music. Layering ethereal textures with striking beats, she creates an atmosphere that feels otherworldly yet deeply personal.

Together, their performance swept the audience into a trance — a set filled with quirky brilliance, magical compositions, and vibes that will stay with us long after the night.
