First(and only) Long Post:
On a Different Note began as a idea nearly two years ago.
Nimi Ravindran and Vinod Ravindran started out wanting to explore working with a group of choral singers in Goa. The plans stayed just plans and the project was in a cold storage for nearly a year. In 2019 it grew wings anew and we were ready to start on a new and exciting journey.
The first collaborator on the project was musician, composer, conductor Parvesh Java(thank you Salome for putting us in touch-so,so grateful :)). And, so started the project that till then was only being referred to as The Choir Project!
On a Different Note is an installation with music, movement, words, light and space playing out various roles. It is a journey through an abandoned structure.
As we journey with the audience we hope to fill these spaces with sound, light, memories and hope.
On a Different Note is a possibility thanks The Serendipity Arts Festival.
It is came into being thanks to some incredibly generous and talented collaborators.
