The Narrators

The Narrators A Performing Arts Company - The Narrators is connected across the full spectrum of theatre activity, experience, and creative practice.

The Narrators Performing Arts Society, as the name suggests, has been an anchor for theatre production and a significant mentor of a new generation of emerging artists. With each project we undertake, the aim is firstly to make great theatre, but also to advance and contribute to the cultural life of India. Although the Narrators as a company is rooted in India but has wings spread into the world.

The constant quest is to tell the national and international stories with great elan and creativity. We will continue to put the artist at the center of our production and development strategies, and to form supportive partnerships with organizations and individuals who share our sense of the value of art in general, and theatre in particular. Ours is an artist-led organization that deals in creating, producing, acting and directing substantial & meaningful theatre. In our ambit, we also include School Theatre Productions for different schools. We help the students to explore their inner passions, like singing, dancing, art & craft, and acting, and help them excel in their own field. At Narrators, we believe every child is an artist we just need to provide them with the stage. WE help them find their inner artists and then let them bloom. WE help the artist to put their work on a bigger canvas. Under our branch WORLD LITERATI CIRCLE, we facilitate the ARTIST – IN – RESIDENCY program, where we provide the artists from all over India and the world the space to enhance and complete their artwork. Under Nisha’s Folkशाला we did the campaign- “Save the ART and the Artist ". We initiated this campaign at the onset of the pandemic times as the theatre artists, writers’ musicians, actors all who belong to the creative and the performing arts circuit is going through distress in our country and all over the world. Under ‘Nisha’s Bookshelf, we also did the campaign “We Shall Overcome”. Under this initiative, we help the covid patients with cooked meals and needy artists and people with ration bags. Under this campaign, we also have virtual chat sessions with authors of the bestselling books to spread the awareness about our campaign. We are also functional in launching the authors and the poets to a wider audience by way of conducting chat sessions and directing a piece of their poetry.

"When words fall silent, art begins to speak." ,

Delighted to share as our Founder and Director Dr. Nisha Luthra' s article “Spiritual Healing Through Art” being featured in June Edition DOLMA, Center for Dharma Practice, New york, by Dr. Glenville Ashby,
Art is not merely expression; it is transformation. It is the bridge between emotion and soul, between surrender and self-discovery. Every stage, every poem, every performance becomes a sacred space where healing unfolds and the spirit remembers its true essence.
