A 2-Day Residential Acting Workshop focused on Clowning and Grotesque Acting — where the comic, the awkward, the ugly, and the vulnerable become powerful tools of expression.

Toph Enany (USA)
International theatre maker and acting trainer, known for his rigorous yet playful methods that push performers beyond polish into presence.

Joseph John
Founder of Jo Act Academy, Bangalore — a renowned acting trainer and performer whose practice bridges discipline, instinct, and lived emotion.

Together, they guide participants through physical awareness, exaggeration, failure, and distortion — not to perform better, but to perform truer.

Hosted by Atmata Foundation, an organisation deeply committed to establishing and sustaining creative public spaces for art and cultural studies, in association with Ahalia Heritage Village — a space where tradition, body, and imagination meet.

MINDFUL PHOTOWALK WITH MUBARAK ATMATA

TURN THIS MOMENT INTO ART

This is an informal and intimate photography program designed as a mindful walk with the camera. The focus is not on technical perfection, but on awareness, attention, and seeing. Participants are invited to slow down, observe deeply, and respond to the moment as it unfolds.

The photowalk encourages listening, self-reflection, spontaneity, and complete attention to the present. Photography here becomes a practice (praxis) — an immediate engagement with light, space, and life, without resistance or pre-conceptions.

Open to one-to-one sessions or small groups.
Any camera or smartphone can be used.
