August, you were a little chaotic, a little emotional, and somehow exactly what I needed. 🥹🤍
Started the month by going to my favorite place in the world, catching up with the people who knew me before everything changed, sitting by the same lake where I used to spend hours doing absolutely nothing and thinking about life. Also got to meet my girlfriend’s little girl, which honestly made the trip even sweeter.
Came back and immediately got thrown into moving houses. Left a place that had slowly become home, while also being excited about starting fresh somewhere better. Somewhere in between unpacking and figuring out the new place, there were hot chocolates, coffees, my sister coming over for the first time, office plans, flowers, home-cooked meals, chaotic weekends, skin care, dinners with friends and way too much good food.
And somehow, the month ended with all my cousins together, which was probably the best way it could have ended. 🤍
August was basically me trying to keep up with everything new being thrown at me, while also making the most of it.
Hectic? Very.
Fun? Also very.
Would I do it all again? Probably. 🥹
