"Puvaniyil Poyi Piravamayin" - Thirupalliyezhuchi 10

(This is the last share in this series; I am extremely thankful to all those who have supported this series published during the whole month. Let us now wait to welcome the month of Thai & Pongal)

In this verse, Thiru Manikkavasagar describes the quintessence of Lord Shiva of Thirupperunthurai who is eulogized by Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma and they desired to be born on Earth which was flourished by the eternal presence of Lord Shiva. Thiru Manikkavasagar praises the compassion of Lord which is capable to provide salvation to his devotees and earnestly requests him to wake up.

In this verse, Thiru Manikkavasagar praises the magnificence of Lord Athmanathar of Thirupperunthurai who is not accessible even for the deities and celestials, he is embodied as Universe and resides as soul in the living beings, facilitated his devotees with his majestic presence in the sacred land of Thirupperunthurai, and provides extreme happiness that resembles to the elixir of nectar for his devotees and constantly resides in the heart and thought of his sincere devotees. Thiru Manikkavasagar earnestly prays to Lord who is precious to world to wake up.
