Formforge Curated Design Experience Human mind constantly tries to imagine the end product in advance; when starting the process of design or drawing.

Limited, minimal in fact, attention is given to the intuitive or instinctive way of thinking. Our approach refrains from imagining the eventual architectural form up front. We believe in working with a step-by-step process that involves form finding, optimisation and fabrication. This form finding approach is based on parameters whose relationships are based on principles of physics or load applic

ation, distance, rotation or solar geometry. Hence; the process itself becomes the Design Principle. Our prime focus is to create elegant, rigorous and innovative design solutions that respond to each projects site constraints, operational, financial and program based requirements. The design and management of all projects, regardless of scale, complexity or building typology is approached on the same basis; following key values of simplicity, efficiency and legibility as the key driving force.

The Quiet Becoming.

Transformation isn’t always dramatic — sometimes it’s internal, silent, gradual. This faceted corten-steel face holds a still inner landscape, where thought, memory and emotion gather beneath the surface before taking form.

Closed eyes hold the work in a moment before change becomes visible. The butterflies suggest emergence — movement and release breaking from architectural weight. Monumental and fragile, grounded and in motion.

What grows inward eventually finds its shape.

Out of Water.

Inspired by the fleeting moment a whale breaches the surface, this work explores monumentality and restraint. Hundreds of precisely layered steel sections reduce a familiar form to rhythm, contour and light — a single gesture from afar, a visible process up close.

Set within water, it stays in constant dialogue with its surroundings: reflection, daylight, weather. Not a depiction of a whale, but an attempt to capture the feeling of encountering one — unexpected, silent, humbling.

Every diamond unit on this wall was individually formed — pressed to an exact depth, angled to catch light at the same degree across the entire installation. Where two faces meet, a sharp edge runs. Multiply that by several hundred units and what emerges is not just pattern but a kind of discipline — geometry held so consistently that the wall begins to feel less like a surface and more like a single continuous decision.

The material is weathering steel. Chosen because at this scale and with this level of detailing, it does something no painted or clad surface can — it carries both the precision of fabrication and the warmth of a material that has its own character. The result is a wall that reads differently at every distance. Up close, it is about the mark and the seam. From across the room, it becomes weight, presence, silence.

There is a particular kind of object that does not announce itself. It arrives slowly — through repetition, through the pressure of process, through time spent with a material until the material begins to respond. This body of work sits in that territory. Each piece carries the evidence of how it was made — the seam, the surface, the trace of force — as much as it carries its own presence. That is what makes it worth looking at.
