Absolutely blown away by the incredible instruments at Jantar Mantar, Jaipur! 😍 It’s mind-boggling to think about how ancient astronomers managed to achieve such precision and accuracy without modern technology. Standing amidst these magnificent structures, I couldn’t help but marvel at the ingenuity of our ancestors. 🙌💫 How did they do it? The curiosity is real!

I always wondered why those three stars are in a line; someone, probably my grandmother, told me during my childhood that those were Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. I believed it for a long time (it could still be true, who knows - haha).

The asterism is apparently a part of the Orion constellation and is also represented as Orion’s Sword.

Another interesting thing is that, after delving into Landscape Astrophotography and Deep Space astrophotography, I always dreamt of capturing a photo of the Orion Nebula. Photographing it with me in the frame is very special to me ☺️.

With ‘s help, I took a closer look at the Orion Nebula with my own eyes through a telescope, and that image from the telescope is still vivid in my mind!

Did you know that the Orion Nebula is associated with the birth of stars? It is a massive stellar nursery located in the Milky Way, situated in the Orion constellation. The nebula is a region of intense star formation where new stars are born from the gravitational collapse of dense molecular clouds of gas and dust.

Within the Orion Nebula, you can find a stellar nursery called the Trapezium Cluster, which is a group of hot, young stars that formed relatively recently. The intense ultraviolet radiation emitted by these young stars ionizes the surrounding gas, causing the nebula to glow brightly (zoom into the picture or swipe to the right!).

Where’s mine? In Astronomy and Photography ☺️.

After capturing a beautiful Milky Way shot the previous day, I decided to include a person as a subject in the photograph this time. Despite the strong winds and freezing temperatures that night, with everyone else already retreating to their rooms, I chose to be the subject, and here’s the result.

I now have some more frames in my mind, be ready next year , okay? you coming?
