In the husband wife nok-jhonk the husband cribs of missing his Mom's hand made traditional B**g recipes after her death.

The wife tries to cope up and tries her hand at making “ Bori” the essential ingredient of many traditional B**g recipes. But alas the Bori gets picked up by a Monkey 🐒 while the husband sleeps. The wife is aghast to find out her efforts have gone haywire but “ true love” comes back through a veneer of Nok- Jhonk and spicy exchange of words.

In Sasuri bonam Bouma, it is an atypical Saas Bahu relationship, and touches the chord of womanhood and self reliance.

While the Saas here tries to educate the Bahu in being more obedient and shy a home-maker, to which Bahu, being a career woman, revolts to her Saas, by asking her to shed the gender bias, but she does it in a sweet and spicy style. Furthermore, she encourages her Saas to change her perspective to life as well, and look at her life through a different lens, and discover the independence, fearlessness and colour to her existing self.
