I've always been a little too attached to the idea of slowing down at home. Maybe because some of my favourite memories have been made around a table.

In our home, it doesn't matter whether it's just the four of us or the entire family squeezed into every available chair. We gather around whatever my maa has lovingly put together, making sure there's something for everyone, as always.

And if she's brought home new crockery, trust me, she'll find a reason to use it immediately.

Recently, our breakfast table was dressed in pieces from Jaypore 's Botanical Collection, and before the food could become the topic of conversation, the table already had. There's something about a beautifully laid table that makes people linger a little longer, reach for another cup of chai, and stay for one more story.

Here's to beautiful tables, happy tummies, and the people who make the home feel like home.
