Anubhuti-The Dramatics Club of JDMC was established with a vision to provide the students a platform to showcase their acting skills and making the masses cognizant of various issues that pertains in our society today. In the process of achieving it's vision, Anubhuti which started off as a 'Nukkad Natak' society stands today united as a 'Family'. A family which holds together in all the odds, a f

ANUBHUTI THE DRAMATICS CLUB OF JDMC🎭 cordially invites you all to attend a play "BHASAILI RE" by Birati Samuho Performers Collective

Behula, the much celebrated epitome of ideal wife from the medieval saga “Manasa Mangal Kavya” seemed to be an extremely devoted woman to fulfil every expectation from her of the patriarchal society. She is described as a very youthful, fair, doe-eyed, woman with accentuated breasts and hips who is expert to appease her ‘man’. However, careful reading of the saga unveils a prehistory of ‘Behula’ where she was a concubine at the court of paradise who was sent as an ‘undercover’ to the mortal life to help convincing devotees of Lord Shiva to worship the snake Goddess Manasa. In order to fulfil that duty, Behula had to travel with the co**se of her husband to heaven only to face lustful Gods who forced her to dance provocatively to earn their favour. This unlike behaviour of a ‘sanctified devoted wife’ was later criticised by her very husband demanding proof of her purity.

ANUBHUTI - The Dramatics Club Of JDMC performed "पंच परमेश्वर" by one of the foremost Hindi writers Munshi Premchand; on the occasion of the 64th Annual Day.✨

"पंच परमेश्वर" is a comedy-satirical cm emotional play which emphasizes the importance of putting justice above one's own interest. The story is about the life of the villagers, their faith in God, their loyalty, and their justice. 🎭
