🎭 This summer, I wanted to create something a little different for teenagers.

Going beyond a summer activity class, this is designed a space where they can a new explore the various aspects of theatre, collaborate, create, express themselves, and build real-world confidence.

So we’re launching a Theatre Production Lab for Teens (13–18 years) in collaboration with Kunzum Books✨

Over 10 immersive sessions, students will experience what it actually takes to put up a production, that is not just acting, but also:
🎬 Direction & character building
🎨 Set design & visual storytelling
💡 Light design & mood creation
🔊 Sound design & music cues
👗 Styling, costumes & colour palettes
🎟 Stage management & teamwork
🎤 Public speaking & facing an audience/camera
🧠 Spatial awareness, collaboration & creative thinking

They’ll be working with real theatre professionals and learning skills that go far beyond the stage.

Because theatre doesn’t just teach performance- it teaches:
✨ confidence
✨ communication
✨ leadership
✨ presence
✨ empathy
✨ teamwork
✨ problem-solving

And honestly, these are life skills every teenager can benefit from.

Hello Delhi theatre actors! We are looking for actors for a brilliant new original play by Shivjeet Kullar to be premiered in April.

Specific requirements-
Male 30-45 years- strong stage presence, good voice projection, clean shaven slick look, to play the role of a lawyer
Male 50 and above- long hair and beard will be a plus
Female 25-50 (short but crucial role)
Female 25-30 (lead role) Strong acting skills, good comic timing, should be comfortable in English and Hindi
Male 25-35 (lead role) strong acting & dancing skills, should be comfortable in English and Hindi.

This is an English play so a strong command of the language is essential for all roles.

Rehearsals begin from Feb first week.

Please connect only if you are able to commit to rehearsals which will be held either in Vasant Kunj or GK-1 post 6:00pm on weekdays and mornings on weekends (the days will be decided democratically after consulting the cast)

After a long hiatus, we are back!
Spin-a-Yarn’s new batch of drama classes for 6-10 year olds at Choreotheque Dance Studio’s brand new, state of the art, gorgeous studio in Chiragh Enclave, GK-1.
This is a three month module with a showcase at the end.
The classes combine storytelling, acting, improvisation, creative craft, elements of film, dance and music for a holistic theatre experience.
Classes will be held once a week.

Spin-a-Yarn announces the first drama workshop of 2023, for kids 4-7 years at The Beehive.
The Program is designed to help children Discover and Develop their Inherent Performing Abilities.

It provides the children a platform to explore, in a Playful and Creative Atmosphere - their Confidence, Expression and Articulation abilities and Natural Acting.

Based on a set of stories and situations, this workshop leads children to finding solutions and evolving performances through group activities, improvisation, music, dance, circle time, theatre games and more.

Creative craft activities blended into the flow, open their minds to using different mediums to create material using their hands and their imagination.

Focus is on developing:

● Analytical skills, creative thinking,
● Clarity of speech, stage presence, diction and confidence,
● Ability to make eye contact, modulate voice and improvise
