V-Cheer,New Delhi

Established in 2009, our organization has worked for the underprivileged students by providing them with academic support, health counseling and cultural enrichment. Our current focus is with the communities around Asiad and Shahpur Jat village in South Delhi. We propose an after school remedial and enrichment program for the children. The focus will be to develop problem-solving skills and discourage role learning. We start by letting the children tell us their difficulties, and use that information to improve on their individual weaknesses. Self-learning using Internet resources will be a special feature of our program. Our effort will be closely coordinated with their day school activities by frequent contacts with their day school teachers and administrators.
