I respect my freedom. I shape my opinion and do the right thing. After all, I am Enactus. We, a part of the Enactus family believe that we needed freedom not only from the oppressive colonisers, but also from the sheer lack of opportunities and knowledge for a lot of people. We undertake projects to help them up from all this mess and help start them a new life. Fight for independence! Take the route of growth and development. Jai Hind!

In Indian culture, the foot is regarded as an object of veneration. Worship is offered and obeisance paid to elders, religious heads and idols with the ceremonial washing of the feet. Wrongdoers crave forgiveness by falling at the feet of the aggrieved. Removing one's footwear before entering a home or a temple before worship denotes a sign of respect, humility and submissiveness. Drama and poetry transforms the foot of the beloved into an object of love. In the Indian perception of romanticism and eroticism, the feet are the most admired, which explains why a young woman decorates the soles of her feet, tattooing them or colouring them with red alta in anticipation of the tryst at night with her lover. She massages them with scented oil first and embellishes them further with anklets and other foot jewellery.
Well, if they actually mean so much, here's our little tribute.
So putting forward our first KADAM, we bring to you Project Kadam!

Slow Internet. Power cuts for half an hour. .
Before entering Enactus, we were probably moved by such small things in life. But when we saw the bigger picture, we realized what actually matters. There exist people who sit under the scorching sun for hours to earn their livelihood by repairing shoes and slippers. Their profession, however, is dying gradually; making it painfully disturbing to keep their business alive.
Being a part of the energetic youth, we have decided to take a step towards the better. Stick with us to learn more about Project Kadam. Here is to making the world a better place to live in.

In india, shoemakers or mochis as we call them are an integral part of our busy market streets. If seen, the reward for their extreme laborious job is nothing much, just chillads. To provide them a great opportunity, we have started Project Kadam! We have been working quite hard for this, for bringing a small change. Hope you guys find this a noble and a good business deal as well! To smiles! To happiness!
