Founded in 2005, Vashi Cultural Association aims to preserve Bengali cultural and social values for future generations & provide a welcoming atmosphere for celebrating Durga Puja outside Kolkata. When it comes to Bengal, culture spreads its fragrance and melody through brotherhood and strong bonding. At Vashi Cultural Association, we believe in harmony and participation to keep Bengali tradition a

nd culture alive. Located at Navi Mumbai, which is over thousand miles away from the golden soil of West Bengal, our constant endeavor has been to enliven the spirit of Bengal amidst the cosmopolitan culture of Mumbai. Along with the cultural enlightenment, we understand our commitment towards the society and continuously strive to contribute our efforts towards its betterment. We have been seeking an active participation in various social causes and have always volunteered to combat against various dooms including illiteracy, oppression towards women, damages due to natural calamities help the economically poor and nurturing talent to name a few. We believe in word 'Amra', which means 'We'. It is this philosophy, which drives us to weave the threads of togetherness and build up blocks for a social bond. We strive to expand our family with like minded individuals so that together we can continue to take our steps towards cultural enlightenment and thereby contribute our efforts towards various social causes. We encourage every individual, who miss the rich heritage of Bengal, to participate in the events, we organize. Through such initiatives, we aim to nourish rich culture and values of Bengal for the generations to come.
