Lal Mati Utsav will have a world of its own. Hosting one major stage with live workshops, baul, aakhra, the festival beacons performers, artists and participants to make the most of the torrential footfall! Power packed with Music, Dance, Art,, Food, and much much, THE LAL MATI UTSAV has a little something for every participant who would be present! Connecting the dots and a feel of nostalgia is a sure thing that would be experienced.

Reconnect with the soul of the city as personalities like Bishakjhyoti, Arnab Chakraborty, Piloo Vidyarthi, Bhaskar Roy, Ritika Sahni, Shinjini, Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee, Sangeeta Dutta-from London, Shom, Suchismita Acharya, Priyadarshi Sanyal, Chandrayee, Madhumita Basu, Rup Sha, Arup, Manjima, Gitanjali, Tamasru, Baishali and many more musical gems to quench your musical thirst to put up the glamour quotient . An ancient form of Jhumur by Shishu Pal and Sushila Tanlubei, an extra ordinary dance performance by the world renowned Dancers Guild along with Aratrika, Aangik and Shantiniketan Ashramik Association. Chhau, Dhamsha, Madol, Santhali songs, Jhumur and Aakhra and group songs by "Surob" from the land of colliery will host high street live performances to get us from reel to real encounter of colourful togetherness
The festival is organized by ‘Ranjit Jharna Kanshai Eco Foundation – In aid to promote extinct folk music and the deprieved folk artists and artisans of Bengal to build more smiles through culture & art.
